We are so excited to be sharing our new name, and our new branding! Rustic To Ritz is now Swanson Signature Events! When I started the business in 2015, we were also starting our family. Rustic to Ritz Events was a way for me to fulfill a number of dreams I had for myself: 1. Be a stay at home mom. 2: Own my own company. 3. Keep a foot in the door of the wedding industry in case I ever had to go back full-time. After spending more than a decade in the wedding industry, I have really done it all! I didn’t want to lose those vendor partnerships that meant so much to me during my first few years in Savannah. But, I also don’t think I allowed myself to think it would be as big as it is today!
Over the years, as the business has continued to grow, I started to see a shift. Instead of weddings with 8-9 vendors, they were not having 12-15 vendors for a single event! We started seeing more bands and fewer DJs, more food courses at reception, lots more flowers, and even customized attire. There are so many more details these days! By the end of 2019, I started to realize I needed to bring on a business partner. There was so much potential for growth!
A New Name
We decided to change the name from Rustic To Ritz Events to Swanson Signature Events! Since our clients are moving away from the DIY trends and barn weddings, and are now looking for more luxury wedding days, we felt the name Rustic To Ritz was no longer a good fit. We want our name to reflect our unique and incredible clients!
A New Logo
We are at the point where our old logo (the state of Georgia) just doesn’t work anymore. We now do weddings all over Georgia and South Carolina. Playing off my last name, we created a pair of swans in the logo because they are monogamous and we believe marriage is a lifelong covenant. The Swan is a symbol of purity, beauty, grace, love, and elegance. The pair of swans are seated inside a crest, seated in a bed of eucalyptus. This brings a traditional wedding crest, with our most used greenery, eucalyptus!
New Colors
We chose balance in our new colors – black and white. A modern matte black and a classic white speak to the client we now consider ideal – sophisticated and classy, yet modern and a sure sense of self though they may have a unique taste. The color black can be serious, professional, and conventional, but black can also represent the mysterious, sexy, and sophisticated. White is often seen as a symbol for positivity and purity, while our gold accents are luxurious and is often thought to symbolize love and passion.

Even with a new name, our philosophy stays the same! We provide our clients with excellence and elegance in every experience. WE work with our clients throughout the Lowcountry to plan timeless events, while matching them with vendors that will create their perfect vision. Our three packages are designed to help every couple, in every planning stage!
