Sonesta on the Shore
Sonesta Resort Hilton Head Island hosts many weddings every year, and some of those are planned by Swanson Signature Events. The Sonesta is located on the Southern End of Hilton Head Island. The balconies of the 340 guest rooms and suites have gorgeous views of the Atlantic Ocean and its beaches.

We enjoyed a morning meeting in the Berkeley meeting room complete with coffee, tea, water, and snacks. The six of us had a productive team training followed by a delicious lunch prepared by the Sonesta Food is Art Culinary Team.
Sonesta for Relaxation
Next, the afternoon included a tour by one of the Sonesta’s many talented sales representatives. The view of the stylish lobby from the second-floor walkway shows the guests relaxing and enjoying their stay in the luxury resort. After taking it in, we were teased with a presentation by one of the professional massage therapists in Arum Spa. What a lovely facility! We each wanted to choose one of the many services and spend the afternoon relaxing. The Arum Signature massage sounded perfect for busy event planners!
Sonesta for Gatherings
Then on the first floor, we saw the beautiful 10,000 square foot Santee Ballroom and imagined the many ways that space could be used for fabulous and luxurious wedding receptions. Then we ventured outside to the lush and peaceful garden sites. Walkways, waterways, and a covered gazebo reception space all lead to the beach.

Our planners have enjoyed weddings in a variety of spaces at the Sonesta! Each bride, groom, and family have been able to have the wedding of their dreams in an equally dreamy venue. We love working with the Sonesta team and look forward to our spring weddings on the island!
