Young Jessica was invited to her art teacher’s home for many afternoons of drawing in the gorgeous garden. Not only did those days create precious memories for Jessica, they also began her love of beautiful art.
Jessica’s education in art includes college art classes as well as learning from other artists. Her most practical art education grew through working with friends who asked her to create special items just for them. Jessica started sharing her work on a blog, through Instagram, and in her own Etsy shop.
After college Jessica worked as an assistant for a wedding planner in Nashville, TN. At that time she started her adventure into watercolors. The experience with weddings and watercolors sparked her creativity, and she started watercolor wedding invitations. One of her clients asked for a crest, and watercolor crests were born!

Jessica spent much time creating each watercolor crest from scratch. She noticed that many clients chose the same florals and similar icons. Jessica spoke with a photographer who suggested saving a library of her painted icons and florals. Then the clients could choose the icons, florals, and lettering that fit their style.
